Rebels Take Lind 6th Overall In WHL Bantam Draft

The Red Deer Rebels have taken forward Kalan Lind with the 6th overall selection in today’s Western Hockey League Bantam Draft. Lind, from Shaunavon, SK, played with the Swift Current Broncos Bantam AA team.  In 27 games with the AA Bantam Broncos, he scored 68 goals and 52 assists for 120 points.  He also got in 10 games with the Swift Current Legionnaires of the Saskatchewan AAA Midget Hockey League, scoring a goal and an assist for two points.  His brother Kole played with the Kelowna Rockets from 2014-18.
