Rebels Add Defenceman; Send Webb To Calgary Mustangs (AJHL)

RED DEER, AB – Brent Sutter, General Manager/Head Coach of the Red Deer Rebels Hockey Club, announced today they have added 18-year old defenceman Nick Charif from the Victoria Grizzlies of the British Columbia Hockey League.  Charif had 1 goal and 1 assists in 9 games with the Grizzlies this year.  Last season, Charif played with Edmonton’s South Side Athletic Club in the Alberta (AAA) Midget Hockey League.  He had 5 goals and 9 assists for 14 points and 70 penalty minutes in 29 games with SSAC.


Also announced, the Rebels have reassigned 17-year old forward Earl Webb to the Calgary Mustangs of the Alberta Junior Hockey League.  Webb has played 5 games with the Rebels this season.
