Rebels acquire defenceman Carmichael from Kelowna

RED DEER – Red Deer Rebels Owner/President/General Manager Brent Sutter announced today that the club has completed a trade with the Kelowna Rockets.

The Rebels have acquired 20-year-old defenceman Elias Carmichael from Kelowna in exchange for a third-round selection at the 2024 WHL Prospects Draft.

Carmichael, from Langley, BC, had 29 points in 62 games with the Rockets during the 2022-23 WHL Regular Season. He was Kelowna’s second round pick, 40th overall, at the 2018 WHL Prospects Draft.
