Goaltender Ungar Acquired from Wheat Kings

RED DEER, AB – Brent Sutter, President and General Manager of the Red Deer Rebels, announced today the team has acquired 19 year old G Connor Ungar from the Brandon Wheat Kings, in exchange for 19 year old D Mason Ward.

Ungar sported a 5-2-1 record during the shorted 2020-21 season, with a 2.87 GAA and .904 SV%.  Last season, in 19 games with the Whitecourt Wolverines of the AJHL, he went 9-6-3 with a 2.58 GAA and .921 SV%.
