Six Rebels Prospects Invited To Provincial U-16 Camps

RED DEER, AB – The Red Deer Rebels Hockey Club would like to congratulate six of their most recent Western Hockey League draft picks on their invites to their respective provincial U-16 summer camps.

Five players from Alberta and one from British Columbia will be trying out for their provincial teams.  Those teams will compete this fall in the Western Canada U-16 Challenge Cup. 

The Alberta camp will be held July 4-9 in Camrose.  Ethan Rowland (1st round, 22nd overall, Hometown: Calgary), Jordan Borysiuk (3rd round, 63rd overall, Hometown: Mannville), Jace Isley (5th round, 107th overall, Hometown: Grande Prairie), Chase Leslie (8th round, 163rd overall, Hometown: Camrose), and Nickolas de Beurs (8th round, 167th overall, Hometown: Cochrane) have been invited.

The B.C. camp will be July 11-16 in Shawnigan Lake.  Kyler Kovich (4th round, 78th overall, Hometown: Coquitlam) will attend the B.C. camp. 

The Rebels would like to extend best of luck to all the Rebels prospects in their attempt to make their provincial U-16 team. 

The Rebels Prospect Camp will be June 2-4 at the Penhold Multiplex and are open to the public.

Ice times will be:

Friday, June 2nd 3:00PM – 5:00PM

Saturday, June 3rd 3:45PM – 5:45PM

Sunday, June 4th 9:00AM – 11:00AM
