Rebels Trade Hausinger To Kootenay

RED DEER, AB – Brent Sutter, General Manager/Head Coach of the Red Deer Rebels Hockey Club, announced today the acquisition of a 4th round selection in the 2018 Western Hockey League Bantam Draft from the Kootenay Ice in exchange for 18-year old forward Cameron Hausinger.


Hausinger was acquired by the Rebels from the Saskatoon Blades in November of last season. He played in 41 games with Red Deer, scoring 7 goals and 5 assists for 12 points. In his career, Hausinger has played in 119 WHL games, scoring 13 goals and 13 assists for 26 points.
