Rebels Fall Again

Another great start by the home team on Saturday night, but it was the Tigers who buried their chances and went on 5-0 victory over Red Deer.

Hunter Shinkaruk would get the game’s first goal, with a shot from a bad angle that elluded Darcy Kuemper at 16:13 of the first.  The goal never should have happened, as the play was offside by numerous feet, as evidenced on the video.  Another sub-par second period for the Rebels would prove costly, with Cole Grbavac, Linden Vey, and Emerson Etem all tallying goals.  Grbavac would tally his second of the game early in the third.

Final shots were 33-21 for Red Deer.

Game 3 and 4 go Tuesday and Wednesday in Medicine Hat.
